Promoting Skills and Education in Pakistan:

Public School Systems:

Public School system is the backbone of educational structure of  even United States of America, that considers itself the champion of capitalism. 95 % of Americans are graduated from Public High Schools. No country can provide the required and necessary education to its people without a good public school system.  Unfortunately over the past thirty years Pakistan’s Public School System has become completely ineffective. Private schools have popped up in every street without adequate facilities and oversight. Probably this was the result of denationalization of most of the institutions.

There were times when children of ministers and so called high officials and successful businessmen used to attend public schools. As a result all were interested in better standards fot public schools. Now even children of public school officials do not attend these schools.

Pakistanis living abroad may consider opening up quality private schools as business ventures but I believe it is absolutely necessary to bring life back to the public school system. Therefore, I will recommend that Pakistanis abroad should also help improve public school system. We need to support  good nonprofit social organizations like Human Development Foundation http://HDF.COM and The Citizens' Foundation http://www.thecitizensfoundation.org that run schools in remote villages. These organisations should also get involved in improving the  curriculum.

How we can help improve Public School System?
